NE stats:
2 x 1st O/A placing.

Class Winner: 00/01 season.

Hobbies – Keep fit, walking, cycling, dogs, traveling and pretty much anything adventurous.

Owns two Border Collies (Meg and Rosie,) who get to go on most of the walking trips and are happy to run alongside the bike on the more local bike trips.

As well as visiting various parts of the world, trips in recent years have included covering most of the Lake District by foot and climbing to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. At least the latter was followed by a leisurely ( in comparison) safari.

Gwyn was introduced to NExposure through Paul Bunch a friend from work. “Paul had asked me to navigate for him on the Saw & Weld Road Rally and happy to try anything adventurous I agreed. Paul suggested that the Northern Exposure Nav Challenge would provide a useful training ground for navigation skills whilst also being a lot of fun. It did provide some good basic skills and it is a lot of fun but unfortunately I was unable to compete in the Saw & Weld Rally through ill health. I did however manage to continue with NExposure and although unable to compete on every event due to prior commitments I did win the Novice class. It has to be said though that this was by the skin of my teeth, as I had the same number of points but more wins than second in class. Although I can’t compete at the moment I hope to make an appearance on a later round in 01/02 or at least in the 02/03* season.”

Gwyn has also been known to show a turn of speed behind the wheel herself - coming out on top during a corporate motorsport day at Brands Hatch and by winning the ladies trophy in a company karting event.
