NE stats: Jon: 7 x 3rd, 6 x 2nd, 3 x 1st O/A placing. Profile: Now, Jon here is shady old character. His events, by rights, should allow us to have a nice steady drive in the countryside. But, somehow he manages to conjure up a healthy dose of thick fog, or some other nasty (!) substance to hold up our progress during the evening. Well known for his love of the ubiquitous Land rover, he admits he would dearly love to obtain a V8 example and go do a little trailing! His wife also finds him "submersed in his OS map in the office" sorting out his next challenge. To say that this family have an unusual profession is, well, quite true! Profile: Having just started a University course, Jon's son Matthew will be sorely missed in the left hand seat. He promises though, on his trips back home, that he will take part in those events that fit his calendar. Meanwhile, apart from water-polo & badminton, he assures us that he will keep in touch via this site. Jane, now a seasoned competitor, certainly seems to be enjoying the competition.
